In line with modern global trends and following the University of Basrah's launch of nine multidisciplinary research axes in the field of artificial intelligence, the "Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation, and Society" axis, headed by Professor Dr. Ali Ahmed Abdul and Dr. Radwan Abdulwahab Abdulrazzaq, held a specialized training workshop on "Methods of Systematic Review and Writing Review Papers Using the PRISMA Protocol."

The workshop, which lasted for two consecutive days, was sponsored and hosted by the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at the College of Engineering. Dr. Hussein Abdulkarim Younis presented the workshop, which saw active participation from researchers and academics.

This event aimed to build and develop the capabilities of professors and researchers to enhance scientific publication in reputable international journals. This will contribute to linking academic studies to real-world problems, increasing research output, improving the University of Basrah's international ranking, and developing the applied scientific research environment to benefit all sectors of society in Basrah and Iraq in general.
