Affirming its pioneering role in supporting scientific and technological advancement and investing in the potential of young people, the Mechatronics Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, University of Basra, continues to host the activities and training sessions of the major initiative, "1000 Leading Programmers," sponsored and launched by the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein.
This ongoing hosting comes within the framework of the fruitful cooperation between the University of Basra and the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein. The department has witnessed active participation and significant engagement from attendees since the initiative's launch on June 20th. This strategic program aims to prepare a promising generation equipped with programming, artificial intelligence, and digital leadership skills to develop innovative solutions that shape the future and serve the country. It is worth mentioning that the training sessions are continuous and intensive throughout the summer vacation period (over the next three months), to ensure that the time of the young people is used optimally and to turn the summer vacation into a real building and development station. It also represents a national strategic project to build digital leaders capable of creativity, innovation, and active contribution to the technological and knowledge renaissance of our dear country, and not just a passing training program.
