The Department of Petroleum and Gas Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Basrah, in cooperation with the SPE University of Basrah Student Chapter, organized a field trip for fourth-year students to the Samsung Oil Terminal on February 15, 2026.

The visit aimed to familiarize graduating students with the operational processes and modern technologies used at the site, bridging the gap between academic studies and practical realities in the oil sector.
