Within the framework of enhancing the practical and applied aspect of the students of the Department of Electrical Engineering, a group of students paid a scientific visit to the Hartha South Station, under the supervision of specialized professors.
1-Dr. Habib Jaber
3- Eng. Engineer Ali Shamkhi
During the visit, a detailed explanation was given about the station's mechanism of operation, its electrical systems, and its role in generating and transmitting electrical energy. Students also had the opportunity to get a closer look at the plant's components, such as turbines, generators, and transformers, while explaining how each part works and its role in the electrical grid.

The students showed great interaction by asking questions and inquiries that were answered by the engineers supervising the station, which helped them to link theoretical study with practical application.

At the end of the visit, the students expressed their great benefit from this experience, which increased their understanding of electric power systems, and thanked the station management for the good reception and cooperation.
