Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Mufid Turki Rashid, the College of Engineering, University of Basra, and in cooperation with the Talents Team of the University of Basra, held its first annual festival to support talents and personal productions. The festival included several items, including holding a charity bazaar to support orphanages in Basra, as well as a platform for poets, writers, singers, and singers, as well as holding an exhibition for photographers and painters, as well as holding a balloon event to celebrate the end of the year 2023. The aim of holding the festival is to support the talents at the University of Basra and display their personal products, as well as to support orphanages in Basra by donating the proceeds of the festival to them
