The Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah met with Prof. Dr. Mofid Turky Rashed with Schlumberger Employment Manager, Engineer Mustafa Mahmoud, in the presence of the Head of the Petroleum Engineering Department, Assist. Prof. Dr. Haider Maath Mohammad.

The Dean of the College of Engineering stressed his keenness to open up with oil companies as it attracts many graduates of the College of Engineering, in addition to training and qualifying them to enter the labor market.
The company's recruitment director also invited the college dean to visit the company's headquarters in Basra for the purpose of reviewing its activities.
