Starting from the principle of equal opportunities and nurturing ideas and innovation for young people. The University of Basrah, under the patronage of the Honorable President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, is organizing the first scientific competition entitled (The Scientific Competition for Service and Development Projects), which sheds light on applied projects that serve the joints of the university in particular and society in general.

In this context, the University of Basrah invites all its students to submit their projects to participate in this scientific competition. Where projects will be received and evaluated by a committee specialized in this field to determine the best three winning projects in the competition for the purpose of providing the necessary support for these projects in order to implement them on the ground in cooperation with the relevant authorities.

Submissions are required to contain the following paragraphs:

Project summary, supported by data, plans and expected results of the project.

Attached with the proposed study are the points that support the possibility of implementing these projects on the ground, for the purpose of coordination with the supporting authorities for the implementation of these projects on the ground.

An undertaking from the participant that the idea presented by him has not been taken from another person or entity without the fundamental approvals, otherwise the participation will be neglected and not approved.
