A master's thesis at the University of Basrah discusses (modeling and implementation of an intelligent controller for an efficient energy harvesting system)

I discussed a master's thesis at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah (Modeling and Implementation of an Intelligent Controller for an Efficient Energy Harvesting System)

It dealt with the message presented by the student Nizar Nasser Al-Aibi Al-Majidi

The proposal of vibration energy harvesting, which uses mechanical vibration to generate electric power, this machine has three types according to the electromagnetic conversion mechanism, static electricity, and piezoelectricity. Piezoelectric vibration energy harvesting, operating principle and energy conditioning circuits will be presented.

In this thesis, a DC step-down transformer driven by a controller is proposed to convert the output voltage into a form suitable for use.

The controllers proposed in this thesis are the integrated proportional derivational controller and the fuzzy logic controller.

The message aims to provide alternative energy sources to traditional sources in an attempt to reduce production costs and pollution.

The thesis concluded that a prototype was designed and implemented in the form of a floor pedal containing piezoelectric elements using a PID controller.
