
Professor in the College of Engineering gets a scientific equivalency from the University of Chester, UK
Prof. Dr. Safa Amer Najm, a professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, received a scientific award from the British University of Chester, which is an honorary title as a result of his scientific contribution to the completion of a collaborative scientific project with two Chester University cadres. As the scientific project succeeded and was applied in hospitals in diagnosing strokes that affect humans before they occur:

This project took 3 years (since 2019) and was fully supported by three universities (Chester, Swansea and Bangor), and Prof. Dr. Safaa Ammar Najm was part of a high-level research group in these universities. For this and in recognition of his scientific efforts, the University of Chester Council agreed to allocate the title of honorary researcher for a period of three years.
