The College of Engineering at the University of Basra held a training workshop titled "ESP32 Microcontrollers and Their Industrial Applications."

As part of a series of practical training workshops for second-year students in the Mechatronics Engineering Department, the department held its first workshop of the year, titled "ESP32 Microcontrollers and Their Industrial Applications." The workshop provided an introduction to this microcontroller, its components, programming, and its use in Internet of Things (IoT) applications across various home, industrial, and agricultural sectors. It also covered the fundamentals of its use in building robots of all types.

The workshop instructor, Engineer Alaa Ibrahim Hussein, stated that students were provided with a complete kit containing all the necessary tools for building various practical applications.

This practical training program was meticulously and sequentially prepared by the department's scientific committee to enhance students' practical experience, strengthen their skills and innovation, and complement their theoretical knowledge. It also aims to prepare them for a swift and well-planned entry into the job market, contributing to their country's development.
