The Advanced Solutions Team, supervised by Dr. Uday Bashir Issa and comprised of students from the Electrical Engineering Department, participated with an industrial project in the National Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Competition.

The team successfully achieved a score of 95% in the initial evaluation test held at the University of Basrah's main building, advancing to the final stage of the National Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Championship (NURAI 2026) at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research level.

These projects will now undergo final judging by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research via its online platform. The Electrical Engineering students completed most of the project components in record time. This participation reflects the level of scientific and research development at the College of Engineering and the efforts of students and faculty in supporting innovation and enhancing the University of Basrah's presence in national scientific forums.
