The College of Engineering at the University of Basra, represented by the Department of Petroleum and Gas Engineering, organized a distinguished scientific and cultural festival with the active participation of the department's students and the attendance of several faculty members.

The festival included the display of engineering models depicting the work environment in oil fields and sites, along with scientific explanations of the latest production methods used in this sector, as well as the presentation of scientific posters covering various specialized topics.

The organization of this festival comes within the framework of the college's efforts to strengthen the link between theory and practice. Through their participation, students demonstrated the knowledge they acquired in the classroom through applications and models that simulate real-world scenarios, thus contributing to the development of their skills and preparing them for the demands of the job market.
