The College of Engineering, University of Basra, is pleased to announce the successful organization of the Fundamentals of Engineering Workshop (Part Two), which was held in cooperation with the Engineers Syndicate, Basra Branch, and the Scientific Researcher Organization for Education Development. Held on September 24, 2025, via Zoom, the workshop saw the registration of more than (200) male and female engineers from various disciplines.

The workshop, presented by Dr. Mohammed Al-Tufan, a lecturer at the College of Engineering, University of Basra, included an introduction to the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and the steps for obtaining engineering certification equivalency. It also included motivational sessions to encourage engineers to continue their path toward obtaining an Engineer's License (PE).

The workshop witnessed outstanding interaction from the participants, reflecting the keenness of young engineers to develop their capabilities and embrace international standards in the profession.
