The Department of Civil Engineering in the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah held discussions for the fourth-stage students’ graduation projects. The discussions took place in a high flow and in a scientific atmosphere and by a specialized committee of the department’s teachers according to the specializations of the projects represented in construction engineering, hydraulic facilities engineering, water resources, soil engineering, foundations, road engineering, sanitary engineering and the environment The graduate students made brief presentations before the discussion committees, which were distinguished by the ability and ability of the engineer to explain in detail his engineering project.
And Prof. Dr. Saleh Issa Khasaf, one of the heads of the discussion committees, stated that the students’ ideas were distinguished in the majority of the submitted projects as realistic ideas that represent a reflection of reality and the needs of the city And the desire to develop it and enjoy the personality of the distinguished Iraqi engineer to participate in building Iraq, as well as a number of projects with specialized ideas in specific fields.
