
A delegation from the Department of Computer Engineering at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah held a meeting with two teachers from the University of Birmingham as part of the academic visit to the United Kingdom, according to the invitations extended to them by the British University for dialogue on coordinating the framework of scientific cooperation between the two universities.
The delegation was represented by the Head of the Department of Computer Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammad Abd Ali Jouda, Assistant Dean of the College of Engineering for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Musab Adel Ali, Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Falah Abdul Hassan, and Dr. Imad Abdul Razzaq Jassim.
Where the meeting took place at the University of Birmingham, and the discussion centered on the mechanism of coordination between the two parties for research cooperation between the teaching staff at both universities and the exchange of joint supervision of the theses of postgraduate students and the provision of facilities in these aspects, as well as the search for the possibility of facilitating the granting of hosting invitations to students wishing to complete part of their scientific research and laboratory projects at the University of Birmingham.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Musab Adel presented the shield of the college of Engineering to Prof. Dr. Steve Davis, coordinator of the University of Birmingham, for his efforts and cooperation in making this meeting a success and his willingness to facilitate the implementation of the topics discussed.
