Students of the third stage of the Department of Computer Engineering at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah made a scientific visit to the Forensic Evidence and Rapid Response departments at the Basra Police Command on Tuesday 3/14/2023 The students were accompanied by two teachers from the Department of Computer Engineering, who are Dr. Muhammad Abd Ali and d. Mosab Adel and Dr. Hassanein Shaker. During the visit, the mechanism of work of these departments in detecting and combating crimes was reviewed. The students received a group of engineering officers specialized in information technology, and they gave a full explanation of the scientific methods and modern techniques used in detecting crimes and their tools, such as programs for detecting DNA.
