Under the auspices of the President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ramzy Salim Ali, and the Supervisor of the University of Basrah for the Department of Petroleum Engineering, Dr. Amani Jalil Majeed The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah held a charity market on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the founding of the student branch of the International Society of Petroleum Engineers at the University of Basrah. Where the bazaar included many activities, including handicrafts, drawings, and various types of books, with the participation of a group of optical restaurants, noting that the proceeds of the charitable market are in order to support the elderly home. The university president praised this initiative and added that these charitable works create a spirit of cooperation and human solidarity among students.
