The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah held a test for the validity of teaching for applicants holding postgraduate degrees from the Universities of Basrah and Dhi Qar.. The number of applicants for the test was four holders of a master's degree. Three of them majored in civil engineering from Dhi Qar city, and a fourth advanced majored in mechanical engineering from Basrah. Scientific lectures were given in their exact specialization and in the methodological materials of the initial engineering stages. Three of them were able to convince the committee of their ability to teach and they passed the test successfully. As for the fourth, he was given a period of one month to retake the exam and improve his performance after the committee explained to him the most important points that he should take care of while giving the lecture.
