The President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, was chosen within the program of the best (100) visual personalities for the year 2022, according to the electronic voting and field poll conducted by the Civilian Foundation for Journalism, Culture and Media and the Union of Iraqi Journalists, Basrah Branch.

 The Foundation indicated that the choice came due to the services provided by Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi to the visual community that framed all the meanings of humanity and began a program of expanded openness to the community through the projects presented by the university, as well as spreading a culture of cooperation in an effort to improve the reality of the city of Basrah and its constant quest to raise the name of Basrah University In the refineries of developed countries and their entry and issuance of international classifications locally, Arably and globally.
