In the presence of the President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and the Director of the Basrah Gas Company, Mr. Malcolm Mays, the boiler was operated in the power plants Laboratory at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah in the Mechanical Engineering Department, which was donated by the Basrah Gas Company to the college within the memorandum of understanding signed between the University of Basrah and Basrah Gas Company.
Malcolm Mays, director of Basrah Gas Company, indicated that the donated device will operate 14 educational stations for students inside the laboratory, where the laboratory has been modernized to serve students from primary and postgraduate studies and give an appropriate opportunity for students to teach, conduct practical experiments and scientific research, increase efficiency and expertise and reach the required place.
