The Engineering Program Accreditation Committee at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah held its periodic meeting
The aim of the meeting was to discuss the plan to obtain national and international accreditation for the educational engineering program in the college. Where the Chairman of the Accreditation Committee, Assistant Professor Dr. Ammar Jassim Dakhil, stated that the College of Engineering is able to obtain accreditation in the near future by applying the standards of the National Organization for Engineering Accreditation, as well as the international organization ABET. Adding that the committee will submit its diagnostic report to the Dean within a period of two weeks.
