The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah hosted a delegation from the Basra Gas Company and the OPITO Training Company. The visit included a detailed presentation by OPITO on a project to establish an advanced training center at University of Basrah with the support of the Basra Gas Company under the umbrella of the memorandum of understanding signed between University of Basrah and Basra Gas Company. During the meeting, they discussed all the details of establishing the training center and preparing the material and human supplies, in addition to reviewing the levels of training courses related to oil and gas and the approved certificates that will be granted to the beneficiaries. from the practical side for the sessions, where all parties agreed to move forward to establish this vital project, which will have a prominent role in training workers in the oil field.
