The generator, which was previously installed and linked to the College’s electrical system, has been operated. The staff at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah have completed civil and electrical works to install the 1500 kVA generator and have been operated for the purpose of filling the college’s need of electrical energy, especially in the summer, high temperatures and increasing electrical power loads.
